Segunda entrada del Mercedes AMG GT3. Estoy poniendo pocas actualizaciones pero no paro ni el trabajo ni las fotos. Ahora mismo, el coche está así: pintado listo para las calcas!!

Second entry of the Mercedes AMG GT3. I’m putting few updates but I do not stop work or photos. Right now, the car is like this: painted ready for the decals!

Pero vamos con los procesos realizados. Primero pinté las partes de la carrocería con el naranja Gulf de Gravity: tres capas donde van las franjas:

But we go with the processes carried out. First I painted the parts of the body with the orange Gulf of Gravity: three layers where the strips go:

Vemos que el cristal trasero está también pintado:

We see that the back glass is also painted:

Después de esto, hacemos unas máscaras de las calcas y enmascaramos para pintar el color azul:

After this, we make masks of the decals and masked to paint the blue color:

Siguiente paso: azul Gulf también de Gravity. Otras tres capas para que tape bien el naranja:

Y aquí quitamos las máscaras. En general muy bien las máscaras:

Y para ver como queda, le superponemos el alerón, que le da un aspecto imponente!!

Cosas que hemos hecho: SI colocamos las ópticas traseras, vemos que hay dos agujeros que se deben a unos topes del cristal, para encajarlo en la carrocería:

Una vez quitados esos topes, el resultado es este: no se nota:

Once these stops are removed, the result is this: it is not noticeable:

Aquí vemos las dos piezas, una con los topes y la otra sin ellos. Decir que una vez eliminados, los he pulido con lijas hasta el grano 12000 para que no se note:

Here we see the two pieces, one with the stops and the other without them. Say that once they were removed, I polished them with sandpaper until the 12000 grain so it does not show:

Más cosas: pasamos a las llantas, neumáticos. llantas pintadas con aluminio mate y negro brillante:

Los neumáticos se pasan por el minitaladro para desgastarlos con lija, de la misma manera que hice con los del Opel Manta: izquierda los del kit, y derecha los desgastados:

The tires are passed through the mini drill to wear them with sandpaper, in the same way I did with the Opel Manta: left the kit, and right the worn:

A continuación, ponemos las calas de Slotfabric. Decir que no vienen precortadas y hay que cortarlas apurando a las letras. He usado el líquido extra fuerte de Tameo: pongo el liquido y dejo la calca en su sitio. No la toco hasta pasado algún minuto donde le paso rodando un bastón con algodón.

Next, we put the Slotfabric coves. Say that they do not come pre-cut and you have to cut them by rushing to the letters. I have used the extra strong liquid of Tameo: I put the liquid and leave the decal in its place. I do not touch it until after a minute where I spend rolling a cane with cotton.

Siguiente paso: negro mate muy diluido a todo el neumático, incidiendo por la parte externa, para simular el uso del mismo:

Next step: matt black very diluted to the whole tire, affecting the external part, to simulate the use of it:
Discos de freno: pinto las pinzas con amarillo Ferrari de Zero:

Brake discs: I paint the calipers with Zero’s Ferrari yellow:

Enmascaro el amarillo para pintar el resto:

Al siguiente paso no le hice foto, y fue pintar el conjunto con Titanium SIlver de Zero para el centro de los discos. A continuación, enmascaré el centro, y pinté con Carbon Ceramic grey de Zero (ZP-1319):

The next step I did not take a picture, and it was to paint the set with Titanium SIlver by Zero for the center of the discs. Next, I will mask the center, and painted with Carbon Ceramic gray of Zero (ZP-1319):

Pasamos a los amortiguadores. Primera mano de azul metálico de Tamiya

We go to the shock absorbers. Tamiya’s first metallic blue hand

Enmascaramos para pintar con Chrome titanium:

Quitamos las máscaras:

We tke out the masks:

Ahora, enmascaramos y pintamos de negro semimate para el muelle. Entre las vueltas del muelle, he enrollado cinta de enmascarar de 1 mm:

Now, we mask and paint in semi-matt black for the springs. Between the turns of the spring, I have rolled 1 mm masking tape:

Y este es el resultado final, aunque no se verá!!

And this is the final result, although it will not be seen !!

Pasamos a los escapes. Mano de negro brillante de Zero:

Pintamos después con cromo de Zero. Vemos el distinto tono del radiador, que se pintó directamente a la imprimación blanca:

Then we paint them with Zero’s chrome. We see the different tone of the radiator, which was painted directly to the white primer:

Para darle textura, usaremos un papel de las cajetillas de tabaco

To give texture, we will use a paper of tobacco packets

que una vez cortado y pegado con cola blanca, da el siguiente resultado:

Ahora enmascaramos para matizar el papel de tabaco, pero lo veremos en el siguiente post:

Pasamos a mostrar como es el cuadro de mandos del piloto. Esos botones los eliminaremos para poner los míos:

We go on to show how the pilot’s scorecard is. Those buttons will be eliminated to put mine:

Ahora veamos la calandra que va con el cromo de fábrica, pero vamos a darle profundidad:

La pintamos de negro semimate X18 de Tamiya:

We painted wit with Tamiya black X18:

Y cuando se seca, con un bastoncillo y disolvente X20A, lo pasamos por los bordes superiores, eliminando el negro pero dejando el resto:

And when it dries, we pass  it with a stick and solvent X20A, through the upper edges, eliminating the black but leaving the rest:

Y si lo ponemos con la pieza que le acompaña, pintada de negro semimate, el resultado es muy bueno. Decir que esa pieza irá con calcas de carbono de la hoja de Studio27:

And if we put it with the piece that accompanies it, painted in semi-matt black, the result is very good. Say that piece will go with carbon decals of the Studio27 sheet:

Al cristal delantero, le ponemos la calca de Slotfabric, y le añadimos tanto la base como los limpiaparabrisas, pintados de negro semimate de Zero. Los bordes delc ristal están pintados con negro semimate de tamiya, con la correspondiente máscara que viene en el kit:

We put the decal of Slotfabric to the front glass, and we add both: the base and the wipers, painted in black semi-matt Zero. The edges of the glass are painted with black tamiya semimatte, with the corresponding mask that comes in the kit:

Otras piezas: las derivas delanteras, pintadas de naranja Gulf a las que posteriormente aplicaremos las calcas de carbono, pero habiendo recortado el borde para que quede color naranja:

Other pieces: the front drifts, painted in Gulf orange to which we will later apply the carbon decals, but having trimmed the edge so that it is orange:
