We continue with the Mercedes Gulf of Tamiya, in which I have been putting decals of the brand Slotfabric for the body, and of Studio27 for the carbon decals. Just tell you that I was putting decals for two weekends, being Slotfabric quite bad, as they are not pre-cut, and are very fat, in addition to having a very complicated Orange Gulf.
As always, that’s how I have the model, with the spoiler preassembled to see how it looks:
But let’s go to the beginning. I left the body with the colors blue and orange. From that point on, it was necessary to sand the joints of the paint with water, and start putting decals. For the black lines, I cut the lines of the decals and I put them little by little until I finished with them. Then I started to put the rest:
In the body you can also see fiber decals around the windows, which I will have to review with black, and in the lower part of the front skirt:
Now we go to the Studio27 fiber. We start with the spoiler that has a total of 10 pieces, to which I put the letters above and in the drifts:
Other pieces that carried carbon are the front optics, which had 3 decals in each headlight:
In the chassis, the big job was in the drifts, which had two decals by drift, with a total of 16, with two rear …. Much work!
The chassis also had decals in front and on the sides …
And of course in the cockpit:
And for the dashboard!!
The windshield also had some more than those I put in the previous post:
And as always, wanting to see everything, I test the body with the spoiler:
Gracias por ver y comentar!!
It is already nearing the end, but there is still much left.
Thanks for viewing and commenting!!
