Después de terminar el Mercedes y los dos Opel Manta, volvemos al Ford Escort Gr2, el cual está actualmente en este estado, a falta de chasis, pilotos traseros, y algunos complementos de la carrocería:
After finishing the Mercedes and the two Opel Manta, we return to the Ford Escort Gr2, which is currently in this status, in the absence of chassis, rear lights, and some little body parts:
Up to that point, and while polishing, some parts of the body were damaged:
To fix it, I masked and sanded. Then I painted and put spare decals, to finally add clearcoat again in that part of the body:
And here the result, which is not the perfect, but I give it for good!
Para los cristales, desecho los originales de los lados, manteniendo el de delante y detrás, los cuales recorto de la pieza original. En sustitución voy a utilizar acetato de Evergreen, el cual recortaré previa plantilla realizada en papel del contorno de la ventana:
For the crystals, I discard the originals of the sides, keeping the one in front and behind, which I cut out from the original piece. In substitution to the sides crystals, I will use Evergreen acetate, which I will cut according to the template made on paper of the contour of the window:
Once cut, it will stick with white glue:
And to the cut crystals of the original piece, we passed them through Future:
I leave some pictures of the engine, in its current status:
And we started masking to paint the window frames and the front grille gap:
And here it is once painted with black Tamiya X18 semi-matte:
And here it is the result:
Next step, stick the grid and headlights:
In the following photo we have added the front turn signals, redone with acetate painted with orange and the edge highlighted with black marker, and the crystals:
Ya no queda casi nada para terminarlo. Gracias por ver y comentar!
There is almost nothing left to finish it. Thanks for viewing and commenting!
