Continuamos con este proyecto de la escala peque\u00f1a y ya que estaba casi todo pintado, es hora de ir pegando piezas. Empezamos por el eje delantero y el motor:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5a5ba13b4f137ffddf5472734807abcd\">Hello everyone! We&#8217;re continuing with this small-scale project, and since almost everything is painted, it&#8217;s time to start gluing pieces. We&#8217;ll begin with the front axle and the engine:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.maquetea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/March-701-02-6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"850\" height=\"478\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.maquetea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/March-701-02-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12078\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.maquetea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/March-701-02-6.jpg 850w, http:\/\/blog.maquetea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/March-701-02-6-300x169.jpg 300w, http:\/\/blog.maquetea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/March-701-02-6-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>En el eje delantero, la complicaci\u00f3n fue el poner la barra estabilizadora ya que el fotograbado es muy fino, y para facilitar su colocaco\u00f3n, elimin\u00e9 dos patillas muy finas de la base por donde se ten\u00eda que introducir. Otro problema fueron los muelles, que al ser grandes, hab\u00eda que comprimirlos mucho. Mi opci\u00f3n fue recortarlos. Del resto, todo es f\u00e1cil y no tiene complicaciones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4bd66925dc9290c6c11a3c28e9e94539\">On the front axle, the tricky part was fitting the stabilizer bar, as the photo-etched details are very thin. To make it easier to install, I removed two very thin tabs from the base where it had to be inserted. Another problem was the springs, which, being large, had to be compressed a lot. My solution was to shorten them. Una vez seco, se pint\u00f3 el anagrama de Ford de las tapas de las v\u00e1lvulas, con el rotulador cromo de AK, tanto las letras como su entorno. Se enmascararon con cinta de Tamiya y se pinto con negro semimate acrilico XF18 de Tamiya. El motivo de este color es porque despu\u00e9s, con un bast\u00f3n mojado en disolvente X20A, se fue pasando por las letras de Ford, poco a poco, hasta que apareci\u00f3 el color cromado:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1f2a5e9a66e66a6df09b85b741218d09\">On the engine, the block was painted with Tamiya LP metallic gray. Once dry, the Ford logo on the valve covers was painted with an AK chrome marker, both the letters and the surrounding area. It was masked off with Tamiya tape and painted with Tamiya XF18 semi-matte acrylic black. Para ello, primero pego los dos flaps delanteros a la carrocer\u00eda con ciano:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9f5d41567ec047e88f13c6203b7855f0\">And it was time to apply the decals. Una pincelada en la rueda, colocas la calca bien puesta y lo dejas sin tocar. Se adapta a la base perfectamente. Y no se debe tocar porque la tocarlo, se deshace la calca hasta que se seca competamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b1e669af9d887449089d343d12494b42\">For the tire logos, I used Tameo&#8217;s extra-strong adhesive. A quick brush on the wheel, then position the decal correctly and leave it undisturbed. It adheres perfectly to the base.
