Y ya ha llegado el momento de deshacerme de estos dos. Despues de casi dos a\u00f1os, este ancargo lo devuelvo a su due\u00f1o y espero que lo cuide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es la primera vez que hago un encargo y no meto los coches termiandos en la vitrina. Me dieron todo el tiempo del mundo, y estaba descontento porque a veces, priorizaba otros gustos m\u00edos antes que estos dos, aunque si me gustaban tambi\u00e9n mucho. Las calcas estaban algunas fuera de escala o no se acomodaban a la carrocer\u00eda, con lo que me llev\u00f3 a pintar las franjas azules en el Escort. En el VW, las ten\u00eda que pintar de todas maneras porque no ven\u00edan en las calcas. Tambi\u00e9n tuve que elegir los colores apropiados entre la gama de ellos que tengo, y la verdad es que se asemejan mucho a los originales. En cuanto al diecast, los dos eran de resina, de distintas marcas, y no resultaron igual cuando las introducje en el liquido de frenos para quitarles la pintura. El Escort fue mu bien, pero el VW, tuve que tenerlo m\u00e1s tiempo, por que no se quitaba la pintura, y eso abland\u00f3 la resina un poco. Pero al final todo fue bien. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Empezamos por las fotos del Escort:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now it’s time to get rid of these two. After almost two years, I return this ancargo to its owner and I hope that she will take care of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s the first time I’ve made an order and I don’t put the finished cars in the display case with the rest of them. The owner gave me all the time in the world for doing them, but I was unhappy because sometimes I prioritized my other projects before these two, although I did like them a lot too. The decals were some out of scale or did not fit the body, which led me to paint the blue stripes on the Escort. On the VW, I had to paint them anyway because they didn’t come in the decals sheet. I also had to choose the appropriate colors from the range of them that I have, and the truth is that they are very similar to the originals. As for the diecast, they were both made of resin, from different brands, and they did not turn out the same when I put them in the brake fluid to remove the paint. The Escort was very good, but the VW, I had to have it longer, because the paint didn’t come off, and that softened the resin a little. But in the end everything went well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las tres siguientes fotos, son los dos coches juntos. Dos coches que compitieron juntos el mismo a\u00f1o 1980, uno contra el otro, en el mismo campeonato de Espa\u00f1a, saliendo victorioso el Ford Escort:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y estaba claro, que ten\u00eda que hacerle la foto con su hermano mayor a 1\/24!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it was clear that he had to take the photo with his older brother at 1\/24!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
